Lindsay started two of my horses in dressage, and I cannot say enough good things about her work. My first horse, Rulon, was three years old when she began riding him. Lindsay Cooper is the consummate professional — patient, an exceptional rider, and equally at home developing a green horse or campaigning through the upper levels. As a breeder, I’ve sent her many of my young warmbloods over the years, and her foundation has held up on every one of them, including a few with complicated personalities. Her move to Chicago hasn’t changed my plans; she will continue to be my first call for every young horse I start, and the distance from Texas is simply part of the cost of working with the best.
